Nathan Prough
Sous Chef, New Trail Brewery Location
Hailing from the sticks of the Pa. Wilds, Nate is a Penn College Culinary Alumni. Beginning training with an internship on the coast of Maine, Nate returned to Williamsport to work in local establishments such as The Bullfrog Brewery and Hillside Catering.
From there, he toured through Western Pennsylvania diligently picking up knowledge along the way to land in Pittsburgh, Pa. Working in several fine dining restaurants honing his skills under highly proficient chefs and gearing it up working for the Big Burrito Group.
An opportunity arose for him to return home to Central Pa. to manage his own kitchen creating unique dishes previously unheard of in these parts and using locally grown foods.
He heard of Real Taste, another local establishment preparing fresh and delicious dishes from a food truck and quickly gaining notoriety throughout the "Wilds."
After meeting Curiel, Erica, and their crew, he decided he wanted to be a part of Team Cuddy.
In Nate's off time, he enjoys hiking and e-biking in his native wilds. He also finds serenity in gardening and playing disc golf.
Nate can currently be found holding down the truck, "Frijole" at New Trail Brewery, exploring new recipes that easily pair well with and occasionally including New Trail's fantastic beer selections...
